Celtic forum assume we don't have the funds for Tierney ffs

Why don't they understand £25M is **** all off our budget since it's paid in instalments. I'm only writing this in hope they read it and realise we can deffo afford him.

Carrasco 25M
Tierney 25M
Sangare 25M
Saliba 30M

That's sexy business.

Girona and Norwich, after being a top talent.

Hardly worked out well.
Like i said Southampton and Leicester also wanted him. Nothing wrong with going abroad. His stock has fallen because of the Girona move no doubt, he wasnt great and Girona got relegated, but prior to that, after his loan finished with Celtic good level clubs wanted him. Hhe joined Girona in 18/19 the season prior they finished 10th in La Liga. Higher than Southampton who finished 17th and a place below Leicester who finished 9th in the EPL.

Id say a move to a mid table Spanish team is a good barometer of where he was rated at that time.

I like players with work ethic and so does emery. In the modern game you need more than skill.

Fraser by far. Carrasco on his day has more magic but Fraser is probably just more reliable and consistent. Another who will run through a brick wall for his team.

Fraser is probably more what we need in our current situation as well. Someone that is used to the grind of a premier league season and capable of putting up the numbers. Feel like Carrasco would be another that is a bit flakey when the going gets tough.

Fraser all day long, we need some players who ll do their shift regularly and show some example and minimum standard required.

Carrasco would be another Özil or Mikhi, but with 10% of the talent and abilities of those two.

Ridiculous post. Fraser has had one good season. Yes he works hard, but the major problem about our attack is that it lacks dribblers. Carassco can dribble, retain possession and shoot. He isn't shy of hard work as he made a lot of starts under Simeone before they fell out. He has alot of hard work in him. He is also tactically astute as he can play left, right, central and as a wingback.

Carassco is a far better player than Fraser in pretty much every aspect. Tierney and Carassco down the left with Bellerin and possibly Nelson down the right would be a good balance of pace in wide areas and guile and dribbling on the inside.

Greetings: Irish Celtic fan. Can’t see KT joining. Guy bleeds green and white. If he’s injured you’ll see him in the stands with his mates. He’ll probably be our captain next year. Dreams of being the new McStay/McNeill will outweigh tripling his salary p/w, most of which he’d be paying in tax anyway.

Different story with our Fagin of a chairman. He’ll probably accept any bid above £25m

Celtic is one of the great historical clubs, but they swim in such a small pond that truly top players will ultimately wish to challenge themselves in the bigger bodies of water. Footballers can't afford to think like fans. He is a professional. He can love Celtic and play elsewhere. His ambition will outweigh whatever he may have in his heart for the club.

Completely agree. Andy Robertson is living proof of that. Can’t see him wanting to leave with 10 in a row so close though. Can’t understand exactly how important this is to every fan. Our own Eldorado.

At some clubs success is accidental. At Arsenal it is compulsory.
