His numbers are shocking for a Bayern player
Except he plays for Bayern. If we're not careful we'll find the team changing its name to PSG Borussia.
When you look at his production from the standpoint of starts it's pretty dang good actually. In 17 starts he produced 9 goals and 4 assists. He does not have a great record of end product (he's 22, wouldn't expect it!), but he offers a need. 1v1 players aren't always the most productive, but they offset that by taking players out of the game with their dribbles.
If we're looking for end product, we may have to sacrifice the 1v1 element. I think having the dribbling element is more of a need, but we need to be smart in terms of their potential for end product. Would have to do some recon on Coman to check his xG and other predictive stats.
Emery might be able to get him to time his runs a little better. He's 2 for 2 so far in pre-season games aswell as far as we know (as is Jeff). Nelson has a real opportunity on his hands IMO.At the same point, we have so much attacking talent in the team that we could probably use one slot to develop a young player. Someone like Nelson has a major opportunity to nail down that right hand side.

What, wilfriend zaha rather than Coman? Coman is a case of > If he improves maybe 10% in all his areas he's could be really great. Hard to grow that much tho.
Anyways, don't see Zaha being better than coman in any area.
Zaha isn't necessarily better than Conan, but he's proven in this league, maybe (questionable) a bit more hungry as he hasn't had top club success yet and will take no time to adapt. Coman is a good footballer with a high ceiling, don't see him as potentially special like Dembele, Dyballa or Assenio though, so would rather spend the money on Zaha.
