Istanbul is a pretty sick city I’ve heard as well.

Muslera is still at Galatasaray, in fact he's their captain. Been there since 2011. It's similar to Darijo Srna at Shakhtar, a foreign player who became a hero at the club and never thought about leaving even though he was good enough to play for a bigger club.

As for Istanbul, it's a phenomenal city except for its overpopulation and traffic issues. The Bosphorus is stunning, there are historical places and interesting architecture everywhere due to it being the Byzantine and Ottoman capital, the food is great and the arts and culture scene is vibrant. It's a very rough time in Turkey right now if you're a regular Turkish citizen who gets paid in Turkish liras, but for the filthy rich and people getting paid in Euros or Dollars, life's great.

Turkish food is my number one choice in London. Nothing compares. Want to try it in Turkey one day though.

Has been for nearly three years now. 1 Euro was equal to 4.50 Lira in 2018, it's currently equal to 18.36 Lira. Minimum wage is equal to 370 Euros per month and 50% of the country works for minimum wage. The inflation is through the roof, like around 100%. Groceries and housing prices have seen inflations around 300% in two years. It's a deep economic crisis brought upon us by a corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical government.

It has, to be honest. The government is trying to get by with swap arrangements, heavy loans and begging to Gulf countries for investment. The guy in charge of the economy isn't even an economist, got hired because he just does what the president says, which are mainly ideas that fly in the face of economics 101.

His support has tanked considerably in recent polls, doesn't look like he'll win the upcoming elections in 2023. Can't take it for granted though, he's an expert manipulator and will do anything to stay in power. Unfortunately, our people have a lot of weak points that get easily manipulated by politicans. It's how he's gotten this much power to begin with.
