He's a young lad. He's just had something huge happen in his life by signing for Arsenal. If it's not physical, then he's having some other problems that this manager and the last thinks is affecting him. As much as we'd all like it to be so, he's not a robot. He'll come back into the fold more discretely and he'll be a success.

That's worrying words from Freddie re Pepe. Hate to say it and I hope I'm wrong, but we've got ourselves a £72mil dud. Seems Pepe already wants to be gone.

In all fairness Freddie did say he was a bit gutted not to be able to bring Nelson along, if it's Pepe's attitude he'd of left him out altogether imo.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
