Calling Edu as we speak, currently offering me Cedric but Arsenal are also paying me £15m + £5m in addons if I praise Arteta in the press????

Jokes aside, can Bowen succeed at Liverpool? He's a bit hot and cold for me.

Depends on how you define success in this context. Can he replace Salah? **** no, but I'm not sure who can tbf. Is he good enough to meaningfully contribute as a fringe starter? Yeah probably.

Not sure he'd be worth the type of money we'd probably demand for him, given his importance to us, nationality etc.

Bowen is kind of a budget Salah stylistically, so one can see why the press would make the link, but I'm not sure Liverpool would do that because it would represent a downgrade without changing the balance.

Arsenal Quotes

The coach's role is to make the player understand everything that serves the interest of the game. To do this he must speak to the child within each player, to the adolescent he was and the adult he is now. Too often a coach tends only to speak to the adult, issuing commands for performance, for victory, for reflection, to the detriment of the child who is playing for pleasure, living in the present.
