Verm was a good deal, but tbf Song only became good in hindsight because he went on to flop the rest of his career. He was definitely worth the 15mil market price coming off his last season with us.
Regardless those were good deals, but not game changers the way Suarez could have been and the way Coutinho/Willian could be.
I think we are missing a beat by not going specifically after couple of marketable players, should be investing in couple of Brazillian hype jobs knowing down the line someone would be overpaying if they turned half decent.
