Because there's no rush. It's evolution not revolution. He's giving the senior players at the club the first chance, giving others chances from the bench and cup games. Finding a blend as he goes. And Guendouzi is young, and probably started more matcheearly on than ideal due to Torreira being late back from the World Cup.
