Statistically, Rob Holding had the best partnership with Gabriel back in season 20-21. He made 28 appearances and we had the 3rd best defensive record in the legue conceding 39 goals with only Chelsea and Man City having better defensive records. Last season we conceded 43 goals with a Saliba/Gabriel partnership. Makes you think....

All the best to Rob, he's a decent player with lower PL club & definately Championship quality but was never going to get much more time here, he deserves more game time then he'd get with us for another season.
