Corchia was amazing today I have seen him play before but this was his best game yet
If Sagna goes (and yes we should try our best to keep him) I want Corchia to replace him, I will worry about Corchia size (he looked 4'6 today) against teams like Stoke but other than this he's a perfect fit for Arsenal

Now I want Sochaux to go down (we can get him for 5m if that happens) but they are the Wigan of Ligue 1 this season and should survive if they can keep beating teams like Lyon away

Still Corchia wont cost more than 10m euros even if they survive and that's still a pretty good deal for an amazing defender, if Sagna goes Corchia should come to Arsenal (and yes we should try our best to keep him)

Sagna has reached the point of no return -- pushing 30, two leg breaks, basic errors, understudy coming along nicely, asking for more money, commanding decent transfer value. Bye bye.

League is very weak
Laurens was on ESPN last night, for the Lyon/Socheaux game. I'm guessing Corchia could rotate and develop alongside Lahm, Bayern dont have a decent back up do they?

Makes sense to me.

No #AFC interest in Sochaux right-back Sebastien Corchia. Agent not been contacted & Wenger barely seemed to know him when asked about him.

Wenger asked about Sochaux defender Corchia on @beinsport: "He's not a player we've looked closely at" #AFC

Done Deal? :D .

Hopefully we're just gonna keep Sagna. Wouldn't put much weight on Wenger's quotes there though.

Well he was never going to say he's looking to sign him but I'm coming around to keeping Sagna for a while, mostly because I think Bellerin will be ready in a couple of seasons.

Sagna/Jenkinson

Monreal/Gibbs

is a good set of fullbacks.

Why do journalist even ask Wenger about players? He's never going to be straightforward with the press

Goal.com reporting what @GFN_France reported a month ago, even using the same fee they reported of 5m euros

Close to joining Lyon.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
