So many British prospects available at left-back: Ben Chilwell (Leicester); Jamal Lewis (Norwich); Kieran Tierney (Celtic); and Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham). Anyone would be a massive upgrade.

+1 on Jamal Lewis.

I want Jay DaSilva. Shame he's still on the books at Chelsea, would love to take him. Sessegnon is a great shout from an attacking POV aswell. Tierney makes the most sense overall in terms of experience, ability and profile.

Why would we keep Suarez when he's clearly not an improvement on what is currently available?

And what team in their right mind would pay £30 million for Iwobi?

DaSilva is an interesting suggestion!

Sporting's Bruno Fernandes is fast becoming my preferred choice for our #10 role.

I don't think the first 2 will be available, Chilwell is already out of our budget and Norwich look nailed on for promotion and won't want or need to sell their best prospects with Premiership money filling the coffers.

I agree that we should go after Tierney and/or Sessegnon though.

Forget it. The amount Sporting would want for him is enough for 2 summer transfer budgets by the estimate of our current administration.

We're better off searching for players at a 1/5 of his price.

Would prefer Lozano over Neres just from what I saw of him at the world cup, has more experience and seems to be a more accomplished player.

Only potential issue with signing Lozano would be the fact that I think he's a United supporter when it comes to English teams, maybe that could change if he got the Arsenal bug but wouldn't want another step stone player regardless.

Alternative such as Pavon, held in high regard plus an Argentina international, came off the bench for Boca the other day though.

Fraser, 20-25 mil could be a lot of money to pay for a fringe player when we have them already, could be a gamble though, has some good statistics.

Not convinced on Sessegnon. Watched a fair amount of Fulham games this season he seems lazy.

Brandt (25m), Neres (45m), Fraser (20m) in = 90m
Iwobi (25m), Mkhi (25) out = 50m

That's a massive upgrade for the wings for just 40m.
Renew Welbeck and we're offensively set for 19/20.

At the back: Tierney (maybe 25m) at LB and Ozan Kabak from VfB Stuttgart at CB who's available for 12m if Stuttgart get relegated.
Hopefully Mustafi, Chambers and Ospina out which will at least finance Kabak and maybe some of Tierney.

That's all in all about 65m spent on 3 wingers, a leftback and a centreback while doing a good clearout.

What's definitely needed, too, is a dynamic central midfielder as Ramsey replacement. I don't have proper player in mind, though, right now. But I guess Arsenal could probably spend around 30m for one. Been linked to Demirbay recently who has reportedly has a 30m release clause.

That's 6 players in for roughly 100m "net" spend and pretty realistic financially, I'd say.

Ideally I'd like to get rid of Elneny, too, and replace him with a more physical, clearcut defensive midfielder, but I think that would add another 10 to 20m which I don't think the club can do.

Leno, Martinez, X
Sokratis, Koscielny, Holding, Kabak, Mavropanos
Bellerin, AMN
Tierney, Kolasinac
Xhaka, Torreira, Demirbay, Guendouzi, Elneny
Özil, Brandt, Neres, Fraser, Welbeck
Aubameyang, Lacazette

Bellerin Holding Sokratis Tierney
Demirbay Torreira
