Guess Begovic is just too mainstream for us to even consider

hipster wenger knows that pitchfork would give begovic a 5.4, he needs a no name that will be rated a 9.2

Come on fellas, it's so obvious!

I would love to have Begovic, Adler or Cesar ,but Sczc is Wengers baby (not literally). Any keeper he brings in will impede his development, raise doubts on Wenger's judgement, and cost more than he's willing to spend. It's not about improving Arsenal. It's about Wenger.

If you throw Sczc into a competition for places with Cesar, Begovic, Adler, etc. he looses every time. Those keepers are beyond him, so the only explanation that makes sense is the one above (that I can see).

What else could it be?

Think my first post on A-M in the lobby was about Guaita, bit random.

Far better than Szczesny, had a patchy last season because of the lack of continuity between Valencia's goal posts, but very talented keeper overall, was world class for a good part of 11/12, including a stellar performance against Real in a goalless draw at the Bernabeu that even made him a candidate for the Spanish NT. We would do very well to sign either of him or Diego Alves from Valencia, both shouldn't be too expensive and would probably cost even less than Begovic.

I didn't need the video to know that he's better than our no.1 but after watching it,it agrees with what I am thinking.

He seems to position himself better in free kicks.I'm pointing that out because his saves overshadow that.

They say he have 30M release clause but the player is want to leave. Richard Law met the player and his agent this morning and then he will meet the director and the president of Valencia CF

It's always easier picking up the 2nd choice keepers. This is a lot more realistic than someone like Begovic, he could become a big star here as he's a quality keeper that needs game time.

Would bring the best out of him and Szczesny if he came here. He's three years older than Szczesny too. Wouldn't exactly 'kill' him IMO.

Begovic is sitting in his house somewhere in Stoke waiting for a phonecall. What is this sh*t?
Just like Gustavo and Higuain, Begovic makes too much sense for it to happen.

This, just bid for Begovic ffs. We could probably get him for around 15 million which would be a great signing. We haven't had a proper keeper since Lehmann in 2006, step up Wenger.

I completely agree! Organisation and confidence starts at the back, a GK CB and RB are required.

I think a GK should be one of the more important concerns for Arsenal. I think ST, CM and ST are positions where we need players who are ready to step in and replace our existing options immediately.
