Couldn't really express this in the Coq threads since they are closed but honestly quite upset at his departure. Don't know why this pissed me off more than our two previous outgoings (Szcz and Gabriel). Honestly wish him all the best, was a terrific DM who lost his head trying to express himself in attacking areas.

Going to watch a bit more of Valencia this season, liked them because of Gabriel but would be interesting to see how they do. Coq as a dedicated DM in a 3 should really work well for them.

And @Özil'sCloakOfInvisibility the tweets you posted were pathetic.

I’m really worried about our future. I honestly think the owners have accepted 6th place for the next few years..
If anyone truly believes this is a ‘rebuild’, you must not know arsenal fc. It’s only a rebuild if we buy better players which we can’t attract and won’t pay for

The board needs to go...simple.

Ancelotti WAS a great manager, but he's lost it just like Wenger. If you think Wenger doesn't do tactics and doesn't train intense enough, go read up on Bayern players thoughts of Ancelotti training methods.
Best we get a Tuchel and get it over with

Tuchel is the absolute last guy I'd want. He's poison. Can't get along with anybody. The idea that Ancelotti has "lost it" is nuts. It's the sort of thing that people who don't know what the hell they're talking about say when they want to denigrate someone who knows about a million times more than they do. Also, Arsenal is not Bayern. England is not Germany.

And if you think Carlo doesn't do tactics, you somehow missed his Milan teams.

Anyone who wouldn't welcome Ancelotti to Arsenal if Wenger goes has probably "lost it" a bit. I don't know if it'll be him, may well not be and there are others out there too, but he's a class act.

I repeat - it would be foolish to appoint Ancelotti. This isn't 200o.

Tbf, signing Draxler would probably be a big boost in retaining Özil, seeing as they get along very well. It would be worth it just for that.

You'd think so, but how much good did having Özil do in helping to keep Flamini? They were best buds, but nevertheless we lost one of the all-time greats.

Flamini was here like 3 years his second time around. Pretty sure he owes Özil at least 2 of those years.

Terrible stuff. Rubbish striker, show pony in Draxler, Malcom developing for the big Spanish move.

I want Dybala.

Lets get Messi while we're at it.

I think Draxler has obviously been underutilized, and the Malcom's development will determine how good that front four is.

Leon Bailey is playing against Bayern now, if anyone fancies looking at him. Looks like he'll end up in the PL eventually.

I’ve told Dave to cut off his ponytail. I think it makes him less aerodynamic.
