We need defenders. And we need Wenger to fix all the issues we have defensively.

In either setup Krychowiak keeps everything in front of him and Di Maria has a free role with the fullbacks wipping in crosses for Giroud to knock to Lacazette. Ideally we'd have a new right back as well but that seems a bridge too far this window.

Well, english players tend to be crap. It may sound harsh but it is the truth. This is not strange since the english youth coaches tend to focus on workrate and tackling ability rather than technical skills and passing.

They're supposedly trying to get Andros Townsend, so they do seem to be preparing for Mahrez to leave. Realistic midfielders we could get are Carvalho or N'Zonzi (transfer request) but Wenger doesn't seem to be interested in either. Dunno about defenders. Won't be VVD.

Disagree. He would do wonder in CM. He could be the next Cazorla.
Our current set up with Ramsey& Xhaka is not a recipe for disaster anymore...It is a total disaster.

Nzonzi would be good buy we need a midfielder who can win 50/50 and good in air I don't think well buy defender Mustafi seem likely to stay.
