Think there will be competition for him, and an England call up has probably increased his value.

Different situation to Walcott and Ox, Zaha has nearly 100 appearances in a tough league over 2 years, Walcott had 20, Ox 35, Zaha is on another level in terms of his development, he can come in and play straight away.

My gut feeling says he'll end up elsewhere, Palace will want big money, 12-15M, min.
Two of our biggest signings have been young English attacking players from a lower league side.
We paid around 10m for Walcott and 12m for Chamberlain, so Wenger has a history of splashing the cash on these type of players.

He clearly has no intention of ever spending big on proven quality, so this is the best we can hope for.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
I'm all for this now to be honest. he'd bring some genuine excitement and a no fear attitude. Wouldn't struggle to adapt similarly to Bale andMoses because of his confidence.

Good interview here guys, read it when you have a sec, Zaha is no shrinking violet. Looks like he has the whole package - physique, pace, trickery, and mentally too. The Championship toughens you up, I think his two years playing regularly will hold him in good stead for the future.

Over-hyped. No football brain at all. Our kind of player though, trickery without end-product. I can already see the frustration him wearing the Arsenal shirt. If this guy will replace Theo we have truly hit rock bottom!

We've watched Theo wondering aimlessly on the field for years and now that he is finding his efficiency in terms of goals and assists we'll sell him and replace him with a next project "never fulfill his potential and if he does you won't see the best of him in Arsenal shirt". Infuriating!!!!!!!!!

There was a video full of that kinda stuff - featuring just some clips of this season so far that I watched about a week ago (only saying because it has been taken down so can't link it). If youtube is anything to go by - this kid has some incredible talent.

Looks like there's been a crackdown on Zaha vids recently so I apologise for the quality - but check out this brace against Wolves:

He's an Arsenal fan too no?

Would be good to have him, Wilshere and Jenkinson who are all Arsenal through and through.

(Yes, Wilshere grew up a West Ham fan, but he's as Arsenal as you can get now, surely).

I'm sorry have you seen the goal Gervinho actually scores against Mali? I can't be f~cked with this guy he just looks like Gervinho, no better at all can't see the hype at all around him.

He is an Arsenal fan, and I agree, the hype around the guy has got silly.

TV, Radio, Papers, its all Zaha atm.

Defo should sign him though, Wenger will make him unplayable.

Think there are bigger sharks circling him than us.

Palace will want big money for him. A decent show in the England game will see him shoot straight out of our price range.

We'll promise him first-team football. I think Walcott will go and Zaha will come in. He'll be frustrating for a few years and in about 2015 when he starts to look like the one, we'll flog him and PHW gets some more money to spend on redeveloping the family seat.

I was about to say the same thing. I'm done with buying raw talent just to develop and sell them. Lets just bloody keep Walcott ffs.

Imagine if we are outbid.
It would mean we can't even get a potential youngster anymore, let alone a decent first team player, and he supports the club as well.

I actually think Wenger and the board will pull out all the stops to get Zaha, especially if Walcott goes as well.
It would be too embarrassing to not get a player like this after losing Walcott.

It follows the same patter with alarming regularity, which is to sell one of the best first team players and replace with unproven potential talent.

What must Cazorla think, he's only been here a few games and already we have sold RVP, Song and probably Walcott and then being linked with a youngster from the Championship.

Anything more than 10m won't be worth it from what I seen of Zaha. Very overrated imo. I could be wrong though to make judgement so early, but I rather spend 20m on Munain if you get what I mean

Erm - how much have you seen Zaha play?
