Are we back to being enemies now?Too late now.
Hmmm....I'd say we're on the tipping point. Could go any way at the moment. Are we back to being enemies now?
Then you havent been watching.Reminds me of Craig Eastmond. The one thing I look for in younger players is intensity. He lacks it.
Freddie's lightning pace was the key difference. He also wasn't a self-serving glory hunter but it's too early to get into that.
Why did you mention the Calvin Klein part. I completely forgot about that actually. He was a Calvin Klein model that had frighttening acceleration and finishing . Maybe the best finisher at the club at that time .
Nothing to do with ANM but I always find it interesting that Jens reckons that Fab could not pass as quickly as Bergkamp could and thus the decline of Freddie.

I remember him being a really good finisher although I barely understood football at the time, better than Thierry though?

Reminds me of Craig Eastmond.
Freddie was great, but together with Lauren he formed the most boring right flank in Europe.
Neither could take players on or had blistering pace.
Think we are misremembering Ljungberg. He was a good player, but was carried to a higher level because of the world class talent in that team. Also don't think that statistics will support the assessment that he scored loads either. (Mind, he did score important goals though.)
Just backs up Pires's claim that our current group are better technically than the invincibles.Freddie was great, but together with Lauren he formed the most boring right flank in Europe.
