Angry & Miserable
Waiting patiently for him to be sold.

Playing well in a friendly is all well and good, but it's a shame he'll cost us goals in competitive matches in all likelihood.think he was spot on against Lyon. great positioning and safe on the ball, did well with Matteo which is not ideal but on the other hand is very interesting duo
That, and he was actually pretty average today.Playing well in a friendly is all well and good, but it's a shame he'll cost us goals in competitive matches in all likelihood.
For that reason he just has to be quite far down in the pecking order.

Because they're non-competitive games.let's not comment on any friendly performances at all, why would we
CM you mean?Would much rather have £30M and whatever is left of the transfer budget invested in a CB than have Xhaka in midfield.
CM you mean?
I doubt anyone would feel differently.No. I mean CB. I.e. I would much rather sell Xhaka and buy a new CB than keep Xhaka and maintain our current CB options.

Less than averageThat, and he was actually pretty average today.
Yeah. He was just pinging back to Leno or made a sideways pass to CB and played an occasional through ball to the wingers while Willock was doing all the hard work and taking on the players. If Willock can do this consistently, I don't even see a reason to keep Xhaka in squad anymore. Can't turn when receiving the ball. Just passed it back to the CBs or Leno immediately.
Who would be stupid enough to pay 30M for him? Oh wait....Then I guess the question is: is £30M for Xhaka unrealistic? And if it's not, then why aren't we trying to move him on?
