I'm worried that the plan might get scrapped and we'll just pat Gary Neville and Sky sports on the back, breath a sigh of relief, and just go back to normal, accept a CL reform or something, nothing major changes. This whole thing is just a symptom of hypercapitalism, it was the unacceptable face of it, I think we'll just go back to the 'acceptable' face of it where the deaths of 7000 migrant workers for the sake of a World Cup provokes no such opprobrium.

As much I am celebrating the ignominious end of this sordid SL project, I am also utterly embarrassed by my football club. I supported Arteta as the manager but unlike Pep, Klopp and other managers, he didn't even say a word to express his opinion on this whole saga. The players were even worse. While at Liverpool, MU and other clubs, players individually or collectively raised their voices or expressed their displeasure, at Arsenal it is crickets. That club is in a really sad state.......Absolute shambles.
Firstly it is not and never has been the Arsenal way to follow other clubs.

Klopp and Pep only came out to speak on this matter because both their teams had matches they were interviewed for.

I don't know why Arsenal's players haven't spoken, but I'm sure the club has its own way.

I see this Dangote lad was the Guardian's Man of the Year in 2015, surely that means he is a good egg? We want his sort no?

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the league at Tottenham, they came back 2-2 in the last-minute of the game, and they're celebrating - because they're happy to draw against us, obviously. And I remember saying to Mauricio Tarricco who injured himself celebrating in front of me: "Do you realise we only need a point to be Champions?" And he was utterly shocked. So I said "Yes. Now watch as we're going to celebrate on your pitch. Bye bye!"
