Happy with Tomiyasu, but I wonder how far down he was on the list.

When has Everton signed players the level of Ødegaard and White (tempted to put Tomiyasu in there too, tbh, because he looks quite legit) in their prime? C'mon.
I think this window will prove to be very, very well-regarded with the benefit of hindsight. Book is still out on Edu but I have a feeling that in a couple years a lot of people are really going to be regretting a lot of the crap they have talked about him, looking back on this window.

At least I can see the logic. Going from what I'm reading, this is not a bad signing. Not what I would do but it's out of left-field. Hopefully this solves RB - that said, midfield is still a huge problem and we're not gonna fix it.
