Not sure about rabiot seems like a bit of a diva tbh though a good all round box 2 box is what we need.
Get rabiot, dacoure and grealish and our midfield would be ticking over nicely. Back to reality we need to but a lot of players and we need to bin a lot, which means getting good deals which we never do and spending big

Rabiot is basically more athletic Xhaka, who unlike Granit likes to make runs. Cause of his athleticism he is more agile on and off the ball.
Alongside Torreira he would make a really interesting duo.
Word from Juventus fans is he is not leaving

If that's what Rabiot is we may as well just use Willock or Guendouzi. I want a proper upgrade on Xhaka. Torreira was excellent today but I think he still needs someone big and athletic next to him.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Would love Rbiot here. He's brilliant. I'd question his hunger however. He is talented enough to establish himself properly in the French team and become one of Europe's best mids.

I'm not convinced that he's not content with an Italian pay day.

If you divide the pitch into 5 sections.
One in the middle, two half space, and two flanks.

Arteta wants his central midfielder always position himself in the middle area. And in rare occasions he is allowed to be in the half space. But he should never leave his assigned position to defend or make passes at the flanks.
Arteta require his central midfielder to be intelligent and tactically discipline to stay in their position to provide passing options and cover the defence in transition. This absolute discipline in positioning and movement is what Arteta wants.
Henry on Guardiola‘s training:
“Basically from training to the game, up until the last third, he [Guardiola] used to call it the ‘three Ps’ - play, possession and position. And the most important one was position. You have to stay in your position, trust your team-mates and allow the ball to come to you.
Willock and Guendouzi are almost always in the wrong position. They like to roam around and Arteta would never allow that freedom. That’s why they were not in the first eleven.

The same applies to any other box to box sh*** like Rabiot. Box to box are sh** anyway, try to do a bit of everything but never particularly good at anything, and they are always out of position.

Rabiot replace Xhaka? Who will then be our passing specialist? No one? At least we should get a Tonali, Cuisance, Weigl...(the xavi, Alonso) type of player to replace Xhaka, not a f***king box to box, or else we will lost all our passing quality from our midfield to play possession football.

Don’t understand why some here would prefer someone with so f**king little tactical discipline (so called box to box sh**), moving vertically and horizontally on the pitch, leaving space and gap for the opponent. Also, no one occupying his original assigned space also means we have less passing options when we want to build possession. Seems some of fans here like players to run all over the pitch without playing with their brain. And they prefer long ball rather than beautiful and patient buildup.

Do not want. We need more mobility in midfield, he hasn't improved his game in the last few years and is a bit of a diva.

There are more appealing CMs out there. Aouar and Szoboszlai being my preferred options.

Both on the top of my list, we need their skills and techniques to play our beautiful possession passing football, not mobility.
