Chris might be made up stuff again but if 15M euros obligation is very acceptable deal.
If million linked with appearance. They will just play him until 1 game left on the deal and not use him. AMN will go for less than 5 million pound imo next January. Arsenal keep rejecting bids on players they don’t need until right to the end. Rejecting 15 million for a player who don’t even make the bench is *

AMN is not good enough to be a starter here imho but ok for a squad player.
I can totally understand he wants to leave & get regular games elsewhere & good luck to him.

However we are gonna be down to only Xhaka/Sambi for CM options with afcon so really cant understand letting him go until very late Jan unless we have someone lined up.

I don't believe these reports Italian clubs don't do obligations specially these years when financially they in trouble I'd expected to be loan with option if it turn out good they'll buy just like Fiorentina going to do with Torreira

AMN is a good player, £12m for a player like him with experience in a tough league like the EPL is not a good deal.

However, we only have ourselves to blame for; unjustifiably freezing him out, making him unhappy, forcing him stay, and then once again freezing him out leading his price tag to crash.

He has every right to demand to leave and if it effects what we get that’s our own fault. Wish him the best.

12 million for a guy we pay his wages and just be another body in training is great deal. Even Patino has passed him on the squad. That’s partey, xhaka, el neny, Sambi and patino. He is 6th choice and rarely makes the bench. He adds nothing to us

At this stage I would be pretty happy with £12m for AMN if he doesn't fancy staying as a squad player. Feels like around the right fee for him, maybe a bit of a bargain for the club that gets him but then he's never staked a place at Arsenal with any of our managers, nor at West Brom on loan really either. It's another win for the academy either way.

Has to be sold in January or in the summer. Unless we feel we might need him during AFCON he might as well leave in January.

The fact that he really didn’t have much impact at West Brom should have opened his eyes to what his current level is.

Maybe

You're wrong, no?

Really like this and hope more people would see it that way, another PL quality player out of the academy in recent years. Think if we played things differently with him and Eddie, they would fetch us some 30m, but it is what it is

Don't get this comment, they were already screwed by the time he got there and he was easily one of their better players. Didn't Gnabry go there and not make an impact many moons ago?

You can't read too much into loan moves players peak at different times or within optimal settings.

It's a shame from our perspective that AMN isn't happy with a squad role here, but I get it.

Even though our academy is doing great work most of them aren't going to make it here as regular first team players.

If we can ship out a good level youngster or two every season or so for £10-15m that's very beneficial to us. The academy should be a revenue raising scheme for the most part and we pick the gems to keep.
