Nah better to hold on to him, having him attracts other good players and hopefully means he will be here when a new manager comes in. I don't think there is any possibility of the owners being kicked in to action with something like this. If you want to be cynical you'd say he's being clever with his words. And what he actually means is that the decision the club has to make is whether to let him run down his contract or sell him.
Love to be proved wrong but I still think this is the most likely scenario for us this summer.
