Still can't believe we gonna use our resources (close to 50M) on this transfer when the amount is so close to Partey RC...

We've needed the physicality of Partey for so many years. Aouar might be the Ceballos of last year. He will need a lot of time to adjust to the physicality of the PL...

Unless by miracle we get both players, this could be a mistake to remember for a while.

I think Elneny would be one to watch at the base of any midfield going forwards this year.

Showed surprisingly good mobility and really broke up play well.

Just stating the obvious. A club like Arsenal has never made two big signings late in the window

Unique circumstances now though. Clubs need money and deals can be structured in creative ways because of that. By the sounds of it the club are trying to get both and are waiting to see if Atletico weaken their stance, with Torreira obviously being used as a pawn in negotiations. We will see what happens.....
