Would be a great signing, love Perisic! Would complement our already pretty fantastic attack brilliantly.

Is there something about "stop spending lots of money on 29 year old attackers" that this club doesn't understand?
How reliable is Corriere Della Sera? This would be unreal news if true. He would honestly be the perfect fit for us.Well, you never know I suppose...
Maybe spending money on terrific players who can help get Arsenal back on top is more important than some arbitrary age cutoff endorsed by fans with a youth fetish.

You could have said the exact same thing about Auba, Özil and Mkhi. Only one of those signings has worked out. It's pretty bloody obvious that our attack is old and expensive, which from a squad building point of view is problematic. We need young players, not cos of some fetish, but because the more we have the more we can sell to leverage funds and grow the squad. That's how it works. We're not Utd, we evidently can't afford to just splurge money without thinking long-term.
Nothing against Perisic, he'd be great. But it makes no sense for a club in our situation.
A swap with Özil would be a no brainer though. Younger, more hardworking and more suited to our style, and most importantly can take on a man by himself. Could play behind the two strikers in a diamond too. I'd save the funds and go all out for Zaha in the summer though. Feck it, let's get em both! You could have said the exact same thing about Auba, Özil and Mkhi. Only one of those signings has worked out. He's barely younger than Özil. Turns 30 in a week.
Doesn't matter, if he is fitter than him I wouldn't mind. Perisic is a player that would raise our game a level. He would also solve our wage problem with Özil! Never been keen about his fitness thoughHe's barely younger than Özil. Turns 30 in a week.
Really? I would be delighted if we pulled this off. Can't see why fans wouldn't be. It's a great player in here and now and then we buy him in the summerfor a fee he would probably fetch in An open market anyway. What's sad about that? There doesn't seem to be a way to win with some people on here. Young talent that isn't already top class is classed as underwhelming and anyone over 29 is classed as past it. Get it done, look for a cb we can loan is what I say.Sad state when we excited about being linked with Ivan Perisic.
