Why have only Turkish clubs ever been interested in this guy? He is literally the level of so many clubs in Europe: quite average but a hard worker.
Why aren't lower PL sides, mid table sides from the top 5 league etc interested. We've been ****ing trying to sell this guy for 3-4 years and can't find a serious buyer who can take him off our hands for cash.
Our structure is so so poor for selling players, its our downfall.

Well what are his wage demands for example. He may be a curious case of being priced out of his market.
His wages not worth it to pay money for him you know there alot of Bundesliga Italian French clubs thier highest earners only earn about same as Elneny.

The gap between us and the prems “smaller teams” is much less than it used to be. Most sides have a CM at least as good as El Nen or better but on lower wages. 50k is still a lot for most sides, especially outside of the PL.

It's not really "Turkish clubs", to be fair, it's just Beşiktaş. They loaned him last season and he did well, so it makes sense that they're interested again. Beşiktaş's coach publicly lamented not being able to keep him.
In 2017, there were reports that Arsenal accepted a £10million bid from Leicester, but Elneny rejected the move...
Thats true, although I am almost certain he got linked to another Turkish side once too.

I think it was Trabzonspor, but that only happened after his loan spell at Beşiktaş also and it was dubious that it was genuine interest.
Are you Turkish? Who do you support? My family are Besiktas fans (think it has a lot of armenian fans).

I've always had a soft spot for Elneny. He'll always give you his all even though he's not the most gifted player in the world.
He's one of those that should be pretty easy to upgrade upon, I'd imagine it's more likely to happen in the summer though. I think he's still got a role to play here short term.
