Would be another waste of money. People are talking as if he’s world class which is far from the truth. Not to mention he offers nothing that the squad needs.

Well, he has 21 goals, 6 assists and 14 Motm in 34 games, surely he has something to offer? Have you seen him play even?

Are you serious? He's naturally left footed, takes players on, creates and scores goals and has still not reached his peak. Plus hes the captain of Lyon. He would fit perfectly on our left hand side

Fekir has been fairly ordinary since the winter break, the same with Lemar.

Thauvin looks the better player from the Ligue 1 games I’ve seen.

Thauvin had a nightmare at newcastle. Talented boy but not suited to the prem as proven

And what makes you so sure Fekir would succeed in the prem? I think buying anyone from ligue 1 represents a certain amount of risk

This could apply to any league to be fair. I haven't seen much of Fekir but it is obvious he is a talented player, if he puts in the effort and works hard I don't see why he wouldn't excel here.

I would love to see a stat on what league the majority of players who come to the PL and excel are from. For instance, most from Spain do well or most who are from the Bundesliga tend to do well. I don't know LOL just think it would be a cool thing to know.

Great player but we already have two attacking midfielders. We need a genuine winger or ship off Miki.

So you want Fekir, who is slow and left footed to play on the left wing? Not gonna be doing much for us dribbling to the byline and crossing it to nobody.

Would be much better on the right but at that point you just sign mahrez who is better and a specialist in that position.

Hi, I'm new. As OL51 I am French and support Lyon ( sorry for my english too) .. Besides my second favorite team is Arsenal (Anelka and Henry are my childhood idol).

Fekir is really surprising . OL51 said a lot of things but I will allow me to add other things in addition.

Last season with Remi Garde , he cames sometimes late in the game to play a few minutes. This season, the coach is Hubert Fournier , he becames an undisputed starter , we can even say that this is his real first season and it's just awesome.

He is very technical , great vision , agile, good pace (but not as much as the english wingers like Walcott and others), creative but what impresses me the most is his strength for his size.

Watch his goal saturday
at 01:13

In youth team he played winger and sometimes CAM but actually with Lyon he play in the front with Lacazette in a formation like this :
-----------------Lopes-------------
Jallet--Bisevac--Umtiti--Bedimo
------------Gonalons-------------
-----Tolisso----------Ferri(or Grenier)-------
------------------Gourcuff (or Grenier)
-------Fekir--------Lacazette--------------

I read that you were comparing him to Nasri ...sorry but for me Fekir is more talented than Nasri and Nabil performance in Ligue1 is closer to Hazard than Nasri ...

We can't know the future ... but Fekir has the potential to be a world class player much stronger than Nasri ...

He'la stay in Lyon for next season normally. Lacazette also according to Aulas but if one of the two had to leaves it would be Lacazette . Even if all the supporters would don't sell.

Speaking of Lacazette , he played striker when he was a child and at the youth academy , he played winger and striker .
When he turned pro in 2010 he played only winger then Lisandro left. Alexander asked to play striker, Garde at the beginning did not then in 2013-2014 Lacazette started to play striker with Gomis. He had a good season and he exploded in 2014-2015..

A funny thing , during the summer 2013 Henry gave him some advices :)

Gdeep , Lacazette was amazing until the end of January then he had an injury .
By far the best player in Ligue 1 ahead Ibra , Verratti , Fekir, Payet etc

After his injury he is back at his last season level . Good player but not a wc player.

But for me his current level is good enough to be starter at Arsenal but as Henry says you need a top striker,
and even at his best form he's not yet . For me there is just 4-5 top striker : Suarez , Aguero , Lewandowski, Benzema and Ibra ( not this season ).

After Lacazette may become in the future a top player but even though I love him I think he will not much progress. He will be a starter in clubs like Valencia, Schalke , Roma, Tottenham, Everton or Arsenal (sorry if Giroud can, Lacazette also !) or a second choice in a top club.

But I would be happy if I'm wrong and he becomes a world class player...

If I was scout for Arsenal instead of taking Yaya Sanogo or Welbeck then interested in Lacazette when his rate is in the highest , I would take Martial.
A mix of young Anelka and young Henry , he is special ... If he manages well his career for me, he is the future number 9 of the French National. Potential superstar, when Aulas sold him to Monaco in 2013 i cried lol
Good shout. You should be a scout

No room for him

We aren’t Bayern, city or Real who can hoard quality players and not play them

No room? He would be an ideal Wilshere replacement. Fekir next to Xhaka or Elneny would be a pretty good option, especially if we bring in a new GK and CB behind them.

You can play him as a 10, but not in midfield.

If people think Ramsey leaves us exposed wait until they see Fekir in that position

He is a quality player, but this isn’t for us sadly

He's really not a midfielder though, he's a forward. There's room for him for example as one of the wingers in a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 formation, and then eventually he could replace Özil in a couple years time. We have other priorities in defence and midfield to focus on first, but if there are funds left over then why not.

He can play out on the right. Think he'd work well there for us... But this all depends on who is coming in as the new manager and what kind of attacking system they're wanting to run.
