Should be a straight forward game with all the the usual starters vs United returning to the starting XI.

Ivan Toney is always a tricky customer but we should see them off easily.

Commentators giving Brentford a load of stick about not being good enough. What are they expecting ffs. Their whole 25 man squad cost a lot less than 3 Ben Whites. The quality of our players shines through. Jesus and Saliba showing their worth.

We have played well IMO against well organized Brentford team. They have good full backs who are instantly in Saka and Martinelli faces. Hopefully we come out with answers in second half for that problem.

Other than that I think we have been better team. Defended very well and show a little bit more maturity than we did against United.

This is wonderful. Take a potentially tricky away game and turn it into an efficient, controlled performance enlivened by a couple of moments of magic. This type of performance is what will take us into the top places.

Have Brentford been that flat or have we been that good without the ball? Probably a bit of both. Score early second half and get rid of them.

We have played very well. Just need to keep our concentration levels up. Next goal should be ours. Can't let them score and lose control.

Difference between our game control without the ball with Partey is enormous. Sambi needs to learn a lot about it. So difficult to watch Partey losing a ball there. Very confident and all the team looks more balanced with him around.

Partey need stop being creative because most of time he just pass it away

Nah. Disagree. Ode missing, Vieira still bedding in, creativity is reduced. A decent Partey pass often results in a goal.

But yes he’s not got one right so far, I don’t mind tbh.

A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith for Thomas, charging through the midfield... It's up for grabs now! Thomas! Right at the end!
