Disgusting football.

People were slating Elneny for backpassing too much, but all Xhaka did today is backpass.

Too many mistakes, too much controled football.

Emery wont last with this.

Agree. We are so slow in possession. Its why teams can sit against us and Sp**s but not against Pool or City.

And it definitely isn't controlled. Its an illusion of control

So you want us to go all attack lose the ball and concede from counter? That's not how football works bro specially away from home

You are mistaking gung ho attacking with direct, forward style of football. Creating one chance, maybe two dribbles and total of five forward passes for a team like Arsenal is absolutely disgusting.

Mkhi should only be played in the Europa League and cups since it will be hard to shift him now.

I think Martinelli would have done much better than him. He’d be a constant threat on the right.

Xhaka and Guendouzi are not moving in midfield, can't buildup that way. Xhaka also misplacing passes. Willock too deep, should come in the ball more to give Centre backs options in the buildup. Mkhi lively but incredibly sloppy and wasteful. Nelson decent, but would like to see him more involved.

Hopefully the bench will make the difference in this one and we can move on to the next match. Not impressed with the selection by Emery for CAM though. A bit too conservative in not going with Ceballos for the start.

Might this be the season when posters actually discuss what's happening on the pitch other than their bizarre pre-programmed agendas on particular players etc?

Chambers - verified previous impression of him - he does look and positions himself accordingly.
But he's unsuited to play a high line.
Needs to coordinate with AMN better.
*Would suggest Chambers work abit on his left foot - just that alone should improve him further.

Mkhitaryan - thinking if a switch with Nelson might be better. 2nd half should see a sub on for one of them.

Guendouzi - maybe sit abit deeper. But that'd mean Willock will have to drop deeper as well to collect the ball.

Nelson - seems off form.

Willock - try having a go and shoot.

AMN - kinda worried about him getting an injury.

I’ve told Dave to cut off his ponytail. I think it makes him less aerodynamic.
