I hope the FA deny our request and ALL clubs are now told to play kids if they have to.

We loaned out AMN this early in the window, we loaned out Balogun etc.

Unless there is a massive COVID outbreak, you have to play, you can’t use AFCON and injuries as an excuse. We knew AFCON was happening and didn’t prepare for it in the summer.

I hope the FA tell us to **** off.

Stfu.

His value would dip a lot more if he didn't play much, and has 1 year left in contract in the summer. The crying would have been unbearable.
His value is low and we’re taking a hit no matter what as Arteta doesn’t rate him. An extra 4 months would not have made a difference.

Just like Pepe, everybody in Europe knows we don’t want him as Arteta doesn’t like him, his value also is very low.

You have to say, you must at least keep AMN until you at least sign a replacement? Loan AMN and loan Melo straight away for example.

Feels like this will go ahead. Getting a bit late in the day now to call it off.
They’ve called off games hours before. We would’ve known if there was a decision.

We’re battering them in our current forms.

This is a strange stance to take as a supporter. You are right we could have been better prepared for all eventuality by not loaning AMN or buying/loaning in additional players early in the window. To have done that would have had an affect on our longterm transfer plans. And for what? Just to cover a few weeks when we have players away at the afcon? Or a covid outbreak? At the time we loaned out AMN we didn't have Ode, ESR, Chambers and Xkaka out. We shouldn't keep AMN for 'just in case' scenario. We either have a plan for him or we let him leave.

Balogun's loan isn't that relevant apart from just being a body. We have enough forwards (Laca, Eddie and Martinelli). If he was here he still wouldn't n have played anyway.

We shouldn't be forced to cover for all eventualities (like having 8 or 9 injuries all at the same time). Other teams didn't have to. But you rather the Premier League tells us to **** off when most teams have had games postponed for similar reasons.

English football is the best in the world but at times it’s the dumbest in the world too.

Now we have rules that allow clubs to con the system and postpone games.

It's weird that they take so long to make a decision. Feels like Arsenal will be treated differently than other teams again...

You definitely do keep AMN for a ‘just in case scenario’. We’re linked with CM’s for the last two months, loans or signings, Melo, Wijnaldum, Guimeres etc, think you keep AMN until if/when that happens. I mean you’ve kept AMN this long, what’s an extra 4 months. He could’ve played CM or Rb, Arteta many times uses him before Cedric at Rb.

We want our game postponed because we messed up in the summer not signing a CM. I called it all summer, you needed a more experienced CM.

20 Premier League games have been postponed so far. How many of those were the teams involved so depleted they couldn't field a team containing a mix of first teamers and their best youth prospects? All of them could have done. The rules basically allow you to ask for postponements when you feel you have too many important players missing.

They have allowed clubs to do this, unless they rewrite the rules and let everyone know about it, they can't just start with us and say they had enough of clubs exploiting the covid postponements rules.

That’s true, but I guess there will come a point in the season where the PL feels they can’t continue postponing games.

This should never have been allowed to happen anyway, no other league in Europe does it.

Arsenal Quotes

It’s not impossible to go through a season unbeaten and I can’t see why it’s shocking to say that.
