Yes. And it's still s**t (you can bet other clubs have more to put down). But, hey, everyone's in bury-heads-in-sand mode, so meh.

Except hydro, the true visionary.
This doesn't make sense at all.

The sole reason these budget figures are quoted is to give the public an idea about what to expect, I don't reckon it's an actual fiscal number.

Otherwise, we can basically sign up anyone with zero down payment and everything in installments for 10 years.

By selling first. And we're off to a good start in that regard by *checks notes* letting Welbeck and Ramsey go for free.

Lovely stuff.
That's mean we will be forced to sell Laca or Auba because we'll be lucky getting good money from Mustafi Elneny and other f**kers.

You clearly didn't hear about the €4m jackpot we got for selling Ospina

It might be ****, but it's the same as last year when we signed players for a total of £70m in fees. We probably only added £40-£50m in additional costs on the books and last years window was decent. If we can actually get some money back in this time we'll be able to do a bit more than last year.

If you can find a club stupid enough to accept those terms, maybe.

Good thing there's only one Arsenal.
In some cases it wouldn't be stupid though.

Say we wanna go for Ndombele.

Lyon reportedly want £88m for him, let's offer them a down payment of zero with installments to be paid over 5 years totaling £140m.

They should say yes if they're smart as the installments over-perform the inflation or interest rates.

Would that really take nothing away from our budget of £40m?

Arsenal Quotes

When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren’t the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation.
