He was a top player btw, not always a regular but always done well when he played. Had a nasty side too, wouldn’t take any crap from the opposition.
Turned out well in the end. We ended up getting our first option and dodged a bullet not getting that bald wheeler dealer Monchi.

Imagine if Arsenal had signed Tevez and Mascherano on the heels of playing in the Champions League final.
He could sh*t gold, still isn't gonna change a whole lot if it's under the current financial model. Even with incredible recruitment it'd take at least 3 years to turn this ageing squad into a young, competitive one.
