He was a top player btw, not always a regular but always done well when he played. Had a nasty side too, wouldn’t take any crap from the opposition.

Imagine if Arsenal had signed Tevez and Mascherano on the heels of playing in the Champions League final.
He could sh*t gold, still isn't gonna change a whole lot if it's under the current financial model. Even with incredible recruitment it'd take at least 3 years to turn this ageing squad into a young, competitive one.
