NUFC have officially rejected the 35 million bid. They want 40 million now. This is panning out like an absurdist drama.

With all these mad fees reported, it got me thinking how much is Cesc actually worth then? :?

Forget about Cesc, Bendtner should be worth 30 million now because he is homegrown as well.

Andy Carroll is worth £35 million, and yet Barcelona offered us £29 million a few months ago for Cesc f*cking Fabregas.

So, basically Liverpool it seems are going to replace Torres with Suarez and Andy Carroll. Not a bad bit of buisness imo but £35 million is just ridiculous for Carroll, id rather get Llorente for £5 mil cheaper.

For what it's worth i rate Carroll as a decent player who in which was inevitably going to make a big move in the future, but £35 mil+ is a ****ing joke.

If Hodgson had made that mental acquisition the Scousers would be marching on Anfield with their pitchforks as we speak.
