Having said the above it would be ridiculously fun to have a front line of Zaha-Auba-Pepe.
We’d either lose the ball immediately or score.

I’d play Saka in Pepe’s place though. Right now I’m really not a big fan of Pepe.Having said the above it would be ridiculously fun to have a front line of Zaha-Auba-Pepe.

Only the price tag is the legitimate reason not to. I can think of too many reasons to sign him.Daily star ffs.
Zaha signing just doesn’t make sense for so many reasons.

Uhm, yes, we can. Guen, Torreira, Micki and Holding will get us around 60 mil or so.Selling laca would make sense buying Zaha but without selling laca we can't spend 40m on Zaha
Auba is a left winger in Arteta’s system. He’s played there even when Laca has been out, Nketiah plays CF ahead of Auba.Only the price tag is the legitimate reason not to. I can think of too many reasons to sign him.
Not about price but about making space for him upfrontUhm, yes, we can. Guen, Torreira, Micki and Holding will get us around 60 mil or so.
That's the least of the problems. He can rotate with Pepe, since he's mainly a RW, but since he's more or less comfortable all across the front 3, they can interchange between one another. Not about price but about making space for him upfront

We’re not going to enter the market for a left winger unless the signing is opportunistic. Even if the signing was available, I feel like Arteta has bigger fish to fry.
Not sure the current system we're playing is what Arteta wants to keep with in the long term. That we will see as time goes on. But either way, we need another winger who creates. Besides something ridiculous like Dembele, I see Zaha as making too much sense.Auba is a left winger in Arteta’s system. He’s played there even when Laca has been out, Nketiah plays CF ahead of Auba.

You can be the focal point on the left. Some would say it’s actually easier that way. What about Arteta’s comments about wanting to build the side around Auba? Wouldn’t that suggest he wants him to be the focal point which would be a bit weird if continues to be out on the left?
