Can't see us getting both. I'd say we have a higher chance of Aouar than Partey - especially considering we have Elneny "like a new signing" back.

Our squad is seriously bloated with deadwood...we can barely sell anyone it's all loan outs at the moment

Elneny? - No one will buy him

Sokratis - Too busy spending time with this kid rather than further develop his ending career

Martinez/Leno - Can't see Arteta selling either. This is where his Wenger genes come into play. He likes them both equally.

Bellerin - Our only realistic chance of getting good money for a player. Even then we are Arsenal/Banter FC and have a horrible track record of selling players for good fees.

Holding - A loan move to Newcastle right?

Cedric - If we could go back in time and cancel this deal I would.

Mustafi - The most mocked CB on earth. No one in their right mind would sign him with his current reputation.

Chambers - Again very weak interest, despite him being English Arsenal never achieve an English tax on players.

Mari - Another waste of time, wish we could sell.

Kolasanic - Another loan giveaway

Özil - Will see out his contract

Torreira - Weak links and its gonna be a loan by the looks of it

Guendouzi - No one seems to be interested in the little **** despite whoring him off.

Nketiah - Would love a cheeky 20m bid on the fella but again no links out.

So tell me guys...where does the cash for both Partey and Aouar come from?

We are seriously struggling to shift our bums.

Torreira is supposedly a loan with an obligation amounting to £25m ish. Bellerin will probably go for £35m. That’s £60m right there. £45m for Partey leaves £15m over and then you’re not far away from being able to give Lyon a sizeable downpayment for Aouar. £25m this summer and £25m next summer. It’s not that hard.

If we bring in Partey and Auoar, no doubt we'll have a massive spending spree but that will be balanced/offset next summer where we might need very little reinforcements

Torreira money is only guaranteed if he performs and the club wants to buy him. If he performs like a bum that money wont be coming our way next year.

Basically what i'm trying to say is that it's all "ifs" at the moment. The only guaranteed income up front is possibly for Bellerin. I can't see how a stringent club like Arsenal can blow close to £100m or so on two midfielders with only one guaranteed outgoing player (Bellerin).

What was the last breaking news from him about Arsenal?

At the moment he is just announcing the most obvious things.

Rob Holding to Newcastle on loan (hasn’t happened yet but her broke the story). He said Freddie Ljungberg was leaving before the official announcement (or any other journalist).

Bellerin fee if he goes will be £35M. Torreira will be at least £8M up front and then a further £17-20M. That's come from reliable sources. Sokratis is off to Napoli for 4.5M. Kolasinac might still go to Roma for a fee of 5m. Holding will get a loan fee and Guendouzi could still get some sort of fee.

There's money in the squad and we are starting to see signs of sales happening.
Chambers for 12-15m

This is another good point. If the signings this summer get us back into the CL but there's a £150M outlay its fantastic business.

This is what Arteta was saying about taking risks to get back to where we belong as quick as possible.

Not being funny but if we get Aouar and Partey we are probably two players away from a proper title challenge. That's also if Saliba and Gabriel do well. But then Upamecano is available for 42m next summer so if one turns out to be **** we know what to do.

Exactly bro. Getting these players will increase our chances getting top 4 very very highly so all that money spent in the summer will be offset by very little spending in the next summer and UCL revenue. Let's hope the people in power are as smart as us though

I've been on the Aouar hype train for a while, but always thought it was a bit far fetched and that a better team would come in for him. The circumstances might just have fell in our favour tho.

Simon Jones (Daily Mail) was the first about the Holding Loan on 25th August. Ornstein made his "Exclusive" on 29th August.

Arteta certainly is as hes mentioned it. The club clearly feel they can get Aouar and Partey deals done. I doubt Auba would sign if this wasn't the case.

Arteta has come from Manchester City. A club that knows how to sign players to win titles. Of course this was going to happen :p

Lets also not forget our wage bill going to be beautiful next year when Ozils contract expires

Bro with sales this year we could be getting rid of 30M alone off the wage bill. If Laca, Özil and Mustafi go by next summer that will be another 30M a year.

It is remarkable. We are finally getting out of this rut.

We seem to have a lot more assets now than when Unai Emery first took over honestly the lack of assets at that time was beyond embarrassing

Arsenal Quotes

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong.
