I didn’t realise he was captain.
That makes me want Aouar more. He’d likely be a good fit for the dressing room + our squad needs more leaders.

In terms of Partey or Aouar I dont care at this stage, I like what they both bring to the side and its not like I can predict who will be the best when you factor in their age, position, ability to adapt etc. Partey for results now while Aouar could become an elite asset in the long run.

Last year on the 13th of July Telefoot broke the news that Arsenal had bid for Pepe, Orny said it wasn't true then 14 days later on the 27th of July Fabrizio said Arsenal were in advanced talks on the deal. All done by the 1st of August.

So expect this to drag out for a couple of weeks, probably a lot of work still to do, even if a bid is imminent.

Don't even start with this idea - ****ting myself of the prospect of loosing out, cannot think of many exciting backup options we might look at.
