Well, if he does go up for sale, let's see who comes in for him...

Correct and for how much.

England International. 23, can play various roles in a team. Brewster went for 23m but that was desperation from SU. Ings left Liverpool for 20m. Id say during the CV 20m is probably a realistic price.

Linked means nothing. Until someone lodges a bid its all hear say and paper talk.

Was the same rubbish we heard about Pepe. Linked to all the top clubs yet in the end it was Napoli and us.

Take links with a pinch of salt.
I don’t think the wide-spread interest in Pepe was rubbish, but the final price of 75 million was just outrageous for what he had shown in Ligue 1....

In the end, only Arsenal was stupid enough to pay that much!:frustrated:

The only reason we paid 72m for Pepe was because we wanted to pay it over 5 years.

A realistic figure for him was about 45-50m. He literally had one good season and something like 40% of his goals were penalties. We were completely robbed.

If you were to sell Pepe today you'd be hard pushed to find a buyer for him for 30m.

Sometimes you got to take the loss. Wish the player the best, take the cash and reinvest it. Chances are with Saka and Martinelli finding form the 30m could be reinvested elsewhere with better returns.

He could be so good as a Lahm or Kimmich like RB, who has license to roam and shore up the midfield in possession....

Atlético wanting him also shows a worldclass coach sees something in him, plus they need a new RB/RWB since Trippier was banned for 13-14 games.

Phillip Lahm was one of the best fullbacks in world football. Kimmich while not at that level isn't a million miles behind. AMN is nowhere near that level. I get what your saying in regards to that style starting full back and maybe drifting in to middle of the park.

But there's a difference doing that in Bayern when you have 70% of the ball camped in the other teams half and having 50% of the ball like most normal teams.

He's a midtable utility player.

If we could get £20m for him, I'd prefer if we sell, but who has £20m in today's market?

Not sure a loan does anything, however staying on the bench doesn't help.

What top 4 side would use him, tho?

Has to be Leicester?
It’s gotta be West Ham, they were 4th earlier today. Although they have Coufal and Fredericks for RB. Maybe they want AMN as a LB back up for Cresswell as Masuaku is injured.

That would probably be a fairly attractive option for AMN.
Only thing is, if we are planning on selling him this summer I would prefer to loan him to a side who will actually play him. Although maybe at West Brom he will be on the end of some ugly defeats and it may effect his price tag.
