This is our team... according to FIFA and FM Deco in 2004 was better than 1995 Seedorf which I hate.

It's probably because Deco was 27 in 2004 while Seedorf was only 19 in 1995. Crazy fact, Deco is only one year younger than Seedorf he just broke out so much later.

Always felt they were players from different eras but anyway couldn't bring myself to drop Seedorf and instead we can use Deco off the bench later on in games. Like the team apart from that.

Rex mate why are we dropping a better player for a worse one?

Right so the simming is done... and it was a classic. Only 9 points seperated the top 8 teams and there were twists and turns the entire way.

Before we get into the results though let's start with the knockout format. Unfortunately due to financial irregularities "Undrafted Albion" have been excluded from the competition so it is now just a 12 team league.

So this is the bracket.

As you can see instead of 3 byes we now have 4 byes meaning finishing top four gets you that one game closer to the final. In a way you could say it's like a trophy...

So let's get the simming under way.

Week 1


Crackhead FC aka @Riou off to a solid start against @Sapient Hawk with Morata bagging a brace an Eto'o penalty all before half time. A last minute consolation goal gets the Hawks on the board at least.



Then @Trilly and myself get a win from a late winner via VVD from corner against a plucky @Oxeki




Meanwhile despite absolutely battering @pigge only an early goal from Dani Alves is what @Juan Matas Beard and @Gooner416 aka 4Juan6 Spartans can get on the way to an opening day victory.



Meanwhile despite having peak Messi and Zanetti, @A_G is absolutely tooled on opening day by FC SUAGA aka @SA Gunner and @Uncle Good-Advice with their star frontmen Sheva and Titi both bagging before halftime.

Even rampaging CB Lucio gets in on the fun charging up the pitch and burying it past the static defence.



A first win up for @farzad4daarse against pre-tournament favourite @Clrnc with Thomas Muller nodding home an first half free kick from Neymar.



Game of the round though goes to @bingobob and his Hunskelpers FC against @albakos and @jones and their Iftarsenal FC another heavy pre-tournament favourite.

Despite racing into two goal lead within 10 minutes from a Deschamps own goal and a banger from Maicon, David Beckham will just not let that slide and drags his team back to level terms with an assist and a goal from a unstoppable free kick.

So that's round 1 done, let's what lies in store for these guys...

I love you man you lost to a guy who didn’t show up till the last day. Great stuff. But it was the match of the day 3-1

3 games in and the Sauce Squad is the class of the competition so far. A 2nd week two goal win over the Sapient Hawks then @A_G and his team getting dropped near the foot of the table thanks to a Ronaldinho brace. Rumours that the manager is on the hotseat are flying around the AG Arena...

Trouble also for Clrnc City who only get a point against FC SUAGA when Kevin De Bruyne deliberately handballs on the line late on to stop a goal, gets sent off and Stoichkov tucks away a penalty to salvage a point.

3 weeks in and their only result so far... surprising to say the least.

And in 4 weeks it's all changed. Sauce Squad hits a rocky patch and doesn't win a game since going top...

Meanwhile @pigge wins four on the bounce to go top. Tough times though for the poor Sapient Hawks who've yet to win a game and Crackhead FC who've collapsed as well.

In a home game against FC SUAGA they're cruising to a comfortable 2-0 win after a 70th minute penalty from Eto'o. However less than a minute later De Bruyne splits the defence with one ball and Henry bangs it home, five minutes later and Shevchenko pounces on a Thiago Silva mistake and we're all tied then 5 minutes from time one ball over the top from Xavi puts in Giuly and he scores a heartbreaker.

In week 7 @pigge utd win their 5th on the bounce and look well on their way to storm the league but they too fall apart... back to back away losses to the mighty Sauce Squad and AGFC mean they're overtaken by a dark horse Iftarsenal FC who then themselves lose at home to a Lewandowski stunner from Farzad Wanderers and with it the top spot. All of which means that half way through the ranking tournament the Sauce Squad are...



Still anyone's game as the top 5 are only separated by 5 points.
