He's the most talented of our youth players. We need to manage him carefully. He's a superior version of Ramsey IMO

He is basically what Ramsey was before the injury, which is absolutely fantastic for us.

Was just watching that compilation on Twitter. If Smith-Rowe can transfer his running power coupled with his technique into the Premiership, we are talking about a huge prospect.

The kid is the closest thing you're gonna find to a new Kevin De Bruyen.

He dribbles with pace and power, transitions the ball into attack quickly, strikes the ball really well, and is an intelligent player who can spot a pass.

So long as he stays healthy he can become elite.

Nothing like Ramsey imo.

He basically plays like how KDB would if he was told to play it safe with his crosses and shots and dribble more instead.

Smith Rowe is a great ball striker though, if that translates to senior level then we could have a slightly taller, slightly faster version of De Bruyne. His ceiling is nuts.

 implying striking a ball is different depending on league?

It’s weird man.

You only need to look at the shots that Iwobi used to let off in the U23s. I’m not talking the odd shot either, he had an extended run playing false 9 and was scoring a lot of goals and they were flying in.

It’s probably more to do with composure than the actual ball striking ability.

He is technically really bad mate , it's so bad that any technical work would get him a very decent improvement . I am convinced he could score 10-15 a season .

Looks brilliant. Was really excited about him this season, but hopefully next season he'll get more game time.

Imagine that guy being coached by Arteta for a season after having till the summer to gather some much needed playing time.

All of our talented youngsters combined will save us 100's of millions in the market.

This lad is a pure joy to watch. It's "football porn" :)
It seems the only way the opposition can stop him is to foul him (see the penalty v Bristol City, straight out of the NFL). The way he can receive a pass, turn and then run forwards all in one smooth motion is quality.

The majority of our fans couldn't believe it last week when he was only on the bench. It turns out our coaching staff are "protecting him" from burn out.

We've had loanees from premier club's and you look at them and think they'll never make it in the premier league. ESR stands out and leaves you in no doubt he'll fit right in.

Not saving money, it's more like adding value to our squad. We've pulled 5 kids from the academy and each of them is already worth 20m or more.
From this summer we can focus only on bringing in 1-2 top players and fill the rest with young players. We have so much more flexibility now on the market because of these kids, compared to our recent situation where we were just stuck with overpaid senior players we couldn't sell to anyone (and some of them are still here).
Was trying to explain this to forum bums for the past 2 years, they didn't understand it but thankfully people at the club are more reasonable that forum bums

Yes. However, we need to move fast and put hefty release clauses on their heads with clubs already sniffing on Saka and Martinelli. Am talking crazy hefty like 100m-200m
