If Wenger hadn't exposed him as first choice striker for so many years, we'd probably all love him.
and if he didn't need 5 real good chances per goal he actually scores....
the honorable thing would be to let him have his 100, and then let him leave.
Super sub my ass. Can't remember when he last scored a goal.
The winner vs Leicester
Lest we forget:
Should have had game tying and winning assists vs Stoke as well. But Welbeck and the linesman conspired to ruin all that.
Imagine having two fewer points that we do now. Have some respek.
What a header. One of the finest in the premier league era.
He was that striker off the bench we wish we had when we relied on certain strikers.
Instead of being plan B, he was main striker for a considerable amount of time. He's good enough to start though, just not a team genuinely going for the title.
Wenger signed him and Podolski to replace RVP, realized what an incredibly stupid idea it was then had the chance to sign Higuain but wouldn't pay an extra 10 mil to do. That's Wenger for you better to lose titles than overpay by 10m.
We haven't been involved in the latter stages of the title race for about a decade. Maybe he's exactly where the manager thinks our level is.
Got to love Giroud, if other players had his mentality & passion for the club we would have won the PL by now.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was 'close to leaving' in the summer but decided to stay after 'a big reflection'
This is another reason I love the Big G
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud explains why he didn't join Everton - The big gorgeous Frenchman said "Everton are far too ugly, even more so now Shrek has returned, I simply would not fit!"
Is it me, or does that seem like 6 months ago now already?
Nah, its the first thing I see when I close my eyes.
It's just Liverpool/transfers was traumatic for quite a few .
Can we actually play him a second striker or attacking mid? If fellaini can do it for man utd, Giroud certainly can do better.
Another start... another misfortune.
Very good today with little support. Think he will get his starting spot back very soon!
