Our academy is great, one of the best but when you look at Chelsea flogging academy players on loan with options to buy at £17m and stuff like that, makes you wonder have we ever got good money for an academy player?

Not counting Willock obviously.

It's safe to say there's some illegal dealings in Chelsea's case. That kid they just flogged is completely unheard of.

Very shady mate, crazy how a kid just off the Academy production line goes to "Russia" of all places for an option of £17m after his loan, disgusting.

Same with Vitesse thing, somet not right.

Merson has said none of our signings are any good, because no one else wants them, like 3 or 4 times now.

Think he Needs a rest, tbh.
I can’t watch it. The perception of Arsenal is so negative we could’ve signed Mbappe and they’d put a negative spin on it. Tbh bar the (admittedly key) CM neglect I’d say it’s been an ok window in terms of incomings. Mikel has some talent to work with now and tbh with everyone fit there’s no reason we shouldn’t be in the top 6 imo.

Personally I think the hierarchy are far too married to Arteta and a different coach could really get a good tune out of what we’ve got available despite the negativity. We shall see, he’s got 0 excuses now, my instinct is he’s going to drown.

Quite sad how Heccy turned out, tbh.
Cruciate and hamstring injuries are the exact same thing that killed Michael Owens pace. Although i feel we've been particularly unfortunate with injuries- Bellerin, Cazorla, Diaby, Ramsey, Eduardo. (Van Persie got a lot of injuries but it never killed his game)

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the title on May 3-rd by beating Everton 4-0 as Tony Adams scored that iconic goal, we showed everyone and especially Manchester United that we could beat them. Thirteen days later, when we beat Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final in the legendary Wembley Stadium, it was wonderful... I felt immensely proud for the team, for the club: this was the fantastic response I was able to give to those who had put their confidence in me, as well as those who had put me through all those difficult weeks when I first arrived.
