Come on Orny its time
Ok then explain why many of these same supporters have been twerking to sell him to City, a club far more emblematic of the kind of inequity that you're describing than Arsenal could ever dream of being.Regarding the reaction from fellow Hammers, I don't think Arsenal fans generally understand how it feels to support a club that doesn't compete for anything 99% of the time and more often than not have to fight to even exist in the big league.
Whenever we have something to get genuinely excited for, be it a first team player, a prospect or a manager, we know everything is on borrowed time. You don't continuously build on a platform; you start building only for the house to get torn down every couple of years. There is no "project", because heavily investing in youth and a young manager at our level comes with a very real chance of relegation and financial ruin.
Selling to you lot kind of hammers home (pun intended) the inherent uneven playing field that football is. There's a ceiling on a club like ours and that fact in itself is frustrating beyond belief, so fans lash out. Rice is loved by everyone at West Ham, but we are so deeply aware of our status within the game that we also acknowledge and respect his wishes to leave.
Whenever you see Hammers online lashing out at Arsenal, it's more often than not anger towards the state of football rather than specific hatred towards another fan base. You are just the most recent example of how we're just generally ****ed and on top of that you happen to come in for our most beloved player in more than a decade.
Look at them ffs. They've completely lost touch with reality. They are saying they want 100m upfront, lmao, no deals are done like that.
Well it’s not exactly the same question. My point was that what we got for him was a lot less than his value. There is a thread called what would they be worth today maybe you should ask about fabregas there.
How does 24 year old compare to 24 year old Patrick Vieira?
and also not wanting to burn bridges at your current club.Right, that’s what only wanting to play for one club looks like, not what Rice and Mudryk are doing/did.

Don’t think they’ve lost touch with reality. This post is pure b***ocks and he has no idea what’s going on behind the scenes. Just rubbish. Nobody laughed in that boardroom, and that c**t wouldn’t know even if they did.Look at them ffs. They've completely lost touch with reality. They are saying they want 100m upfront, lmao, no deals are done like that.
I would laugh too.Look at them ffs. They've completely lost touch with reality. They are saying they want 100m upfront, lmao, no deals are done like that.
But neither has even said publicly they want to play for Arsenal. If they did we would have a lot easier time signing them. Makes you think how much of what we hear of us being their first choice is media BS when you don’t hear Arsenal leave their mouth once. They could state their preferences without burning bridges. That’s why I think they don’t really care where they go, as long as they left their current club.and also not wanting to burn bridges at your current club.
Yeah this is all true tbf.Because no one sees City as anything real. Whenever they win, it's completely hollow. It's a sports washing bonanza, so over the top that it's more laughable than anything. No one cares about them. They literally just won the treble and it still feels pointless.
It's genuinely a compliment that fans are upset about selling to you and not City.
I could take this guy easily in a sword fight“Claret and Hugh”

In the case of mudryk it went from 60 to like 100m. Seems like west ham want 100 plus where we bid 80. City bid 90. Dont see arsenal going past 100. If 100 comes in and no phantom city bid comes in then its up to rice to push the move. Dont think he will extend just so they get another 20m.and also not wanting to burn bridges at your current club.
