Make no mistake, regardless of where you stand on his abilities as a player we will miss him in the dressing room. In a squad full of betas, Xhaka was a lion. We need a couple alpha dawgs. Look at the elite level of ANY sport and you’ll find an alpha warrior. We don’t have players with that mindset. Part of it is by design as Arteta is tryna cultivate some warm and fuzzy feelings and what not but sooner or later we will need a warrior or 2 to step up when the chips are down.
