Özil got like 25 G/A+ in 3 consecutive seasons for Real Madrid. Like @razörist said I think his best years were during that period and when he initially signed for us imo.

Will be interesting to see if Ødegaard can keep up those numbers.

I could get that many assists playing with Ronaldo so I’m not that impressed. Madrid knew they couldn’t rely on him and went on to have the best once they got rid.

What about Cesc then? Bulk of his career scored 3-7 league goals a season, purely an assist machine.

I don’t think Fabregas was as one dimensional as Özil. Also we can’t really talk about big games with Mesut, he was at his best when it was teams like Ludogrets.

Atleast he turned up against Ludogrets in the CL. Ode goes missing and does nothing when we’re getting KO of Europa League.

You can't compare the Zinchenko stuff.

His Country has been invaded & bombed to bits ffs.

Özil was talking about a human rights issue.

There are human rights issues & lack of religious freedom in loads of places.
